PRODUCT INFORMATION
What is Nickel Alloy Sheets and Plates?
Nickel Alloy Sheets and Plates are flat-rolled materials created from high-performance nickel-based grades like Nickel 200/201, Inconel, Incoloy, Monel, Alloy 20, and Hastelloy. They come in a wide range of thicknesses and widths as cold-rolled sheets and hot-rolled plates. They are very strong, resistant to corrosion, and work well in harsh temperatures. They are suitable basis materials for precision fabrication because they have clean surfaces, tight thickness control, and good flatness.
Applications & Benefits of Nickel Alloy Sheets and Plates
These goods are resistant to uniform corrosion, pitting, crevice attack, and stress corrosion cracking in chlorides, acids, and seawater. Many grades also stay strong and stable in size at high temperatures and are very resistant to oxidation and carburization. They cut, shape, and weld neatly, so fabricators can shear, laser, waterjet, or plasma cut parts and then bend, roll, and weld them with the same results every time. In tough jobs, the combination of workability and long service life helps lower downtime and lifecycle costs.
Uses of Nickel Alloy Sheets and Plates
Nickel alloy sheets and plates are used to make pressure vessels, tanks, reactor linings, heat exchanger shells and tube sheets, evaporators, condensers, scrubbers, ducting, and equipment that removes sulfur from flue gas. They are also used in desalination units, offshore and maritime buildings, furnace parts, and important process pipes. Inconel 625 works well in seawater and at high temperatures. 718 is used when more strength is needed. Incoloy 800/825 is good for high-temperature stability and acidic service. Monel 400 works in brine and seawater. Alloy 20 works with sulfuric acid. Hastelloy C22/C276 is best for harsh mixed chemicals and environments with a lot of chloride.
Why Choose SteelNix for Nickel Alloy Sheets and Plates?
SteelNix offers certified sheets and plates that have the right dimensions, validated chemistry and mechanicals, and reliable delivery. You can order mill, pickled, or bright finishes, ask for cut-to-size blanks or contoured pieces, and tell the company how to condition the edges and package the goods for your store. You can get materials that meet the standards set by ASTM and ASME, and you can also get mill test certificates and third-party inspections if you ask for them. The SteelNix staff helps you choose the right grade and thickness for your procedure, then makes and ships it on time so your project doesn’t run into any problems.
