What Are Nickel Alloy Products?

Nickel alloys use nickel as a major element with chromium, molybdenum, iron, copper or other additions to achieve corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, high-temperature strength or specialised mechanical properties.

Different families are selected for different service conditions. Nickel-copper alloys are widely used in seawater, nickel-chromium alloys support heat and oxidation service, and nickel-chromium-molybdenum grades provide broad resistance to aggressive chemical environments.
